Really exciting win this week! Back in 2016, our client, Mr. Edward, age 56 received a “Partially Favorable” decision awarding a disability date of June 2014. It meant he wouldn’t qualify for social security disability payments (over $1000/month), but instead only receive SSI payments (around $700/month).
Edward suffers from several severe conditions: Spinal stenosis with radiculopathy (commonly known as pinched nerve), cervical stenosis, sarcoidosis, asthma, COPD.
We decided to appeal and fight for more. The Appeals Council reopened the entire claim putting my client at risk of losing his check altogether. We fought on.
Today, we proved that Edward’s disability actually began in October 2013. He will get his disability benefits from now on, as well as receiving about $21,000 owed to him because of the earlier onset date! We are so very happy for our client, Mr. Edward- He deserves this!
We will fight for you! Remember, there is no fee unless you win.
